Colin Vallon Trio New Album - «Danse»
Dear Friends, we are very pleased to announce the release of «Danse» our fifth album and third for ECM Records. We recorded it at the wonderful Auditorio Stelio Molo RSI in Lugano in a live setting, without headphones and acoustic separation. The result is a very lively and authentic recording and we are very happy about it. «Danse» is available today as CD and LP! We will be touring from the end of January (tour dates below) to present the album and we are looking forward to share this music with you! And if you can't wait, here is a video clip of «Tsunami» recorded in the studio.
Colin Vallon - piano
Patrice Moret - double bass
Julian Sartorius - drums

Goodbye MC Anliker!
Dear Friends, we are really chocked and very sad about the passing of our friend MC Pädu Anliker. He created the Café MOKKA in Thun 30 years ago a extraordinary, crazy, overflowing, warm, psychedelic, magical, out of this earth place that was in his image. We had the privilege and pleasure to play there every two weeks for the last three years and share very precious moments with him and the audience. We remember his incredible generosity, his fantastic cooking, weird and amazing announcements, vintage plastic toys, weird musical instruments, sculptures, art, giant plastic polar bears, giant dinosaurs on the roof, fountains, sharks hanging on strings, voodoo backstage jams, flowers, crazy laser-smoke overload-flashing color lights, and his utmost love and passion for all that is different, surprising, intense, true, especially music. We will miss you Pädu! Thank you for everything ! RESPECT !!!

Swiss Music Prize
Dear Friends, I'm happy to have been nominated for the Swiss Music Prize. The ceremony will be tomorrow night at the metropole in Lausanne. Then on Friday I have the pleasure to play with my trio with Patrice Moret on bass and Julian Sartorius on drums at "Jazz au Peuple" in Prangins. And on Sunday at 17h I'll play a solo concert in Saint François Cathedral in Lausanne, for the Label Suisse festival. Elle est pas belle la vie? See you there!
